Murf Pricing Explained (2026)

Short version: Murf Studio sells hours of voice generation. Creator is $29 a month for 2 hours, or $19 a month billed yearly; Business is $99 a month for 8 hours, or $66 billed yearly. That is roughly $0.14 to $0.24 a minute. The free plan gives 10 minutes and no downloads, commercial rights come with every paid plan, and voice cloning is an Enterprise add-on.

How Murf's allowance works
- You buy time, not characters. Murf's help centre says a 1,000-word English script uses about 6 minutes of voice generation time.
- Changing delivery costs nothing extra. Trying a different voice, style, pitch, speed, pause or emphasis on the same text does not use more time.
- Unused time carries forward. On a monthly plan set to renew, time left at the end of a month is added to the next one.
- Uploads are capped. A single upload or paste is limited to 15,000 words; longer scripts go in as several.

One thing works in Murf's favour here: re-voicing the same text is free on Murf and charged on LeapFun, where every regeneration uses credits. If you iterate heavily on delivery, Murf's effective cost drops and LeapFun's rises.

LeapFun bills by script length: about 1,000 credits is a minute on standard-rate voices. Leap Ultra voices bill 1.5 credits per UTF-8 byte, so a minute costs about half as much again on those; Leap Turbo voices cost about half. Yearly billing is ten times the monthly price.
