Speechify Pricing Explained (2026)

Short version: Speechify is three separate purchases. The reader app's Premium plan is $29 a month and is for listening. Speechify Studio, for making voiceovers, is $100 or $300 a year. The API has its own plans from $10 a month. Studio works out to about $0.05 to $0.07 a minute of voiceover, which is low, but it is shown with yearly prices and its free tier has no downloads.

Speechify's Studio pricing page states that Studio and the reader are two different subscriptions. Paying for one does not include the other.

How Studio credits are spent
- Voiceover: 1 credit per second.
- Dubbing: 3 credits per second, so a Starter year covers 8 hours of dubbing instead of 24 of voiceover.
- Avatar video: 30 credits per second, so a Starter year covers 48 minutes.
- Exports: once something is generated, exporting the same content again is free.
What the Studio free plan leaves out
On the no-cost tier there is no voice cloning and there are no commercial usage rights, and Speechify's page says downloading your work to an MP3 needs a paid plan. You can build and preview, but not take the file away.
